A Healthy Text Life

My phone beeped.

I took it out of my pocket, opened the message and had to work hard to keep my face from betraying my surprised delight to the people around me.

It was a camera phone image. The caption simply read "So sexy!" It was a picture of me, earlier that morning, sprawled across the bed, asleep, oblivious. No naughty bits are showing, just a sinuous line of bare back and long leg, pale flesh against the dark duvet.

Considering he has been viewing that same, familiar body since we first met back in 1984 I am thrilled he still finds it so noteworthy!

Awwwwww. Happy Luka is good.

See I'd be MAD and then I'd be happy. But first, MAD.

:-)

The sinuous lines of this post are also 'so sexy'. And damned romantic!

Anonymous Boxer - I can't be angry with him. He can take as many pics as he likes as long as it doesn't wake me up :)

Dee - we still have our moments!

Bittersweet - thank you. It was an unexpected treat and made me smile.

1984? Wow, that's a whole lotta years! One has to ask how you have managed to keep things so fresh since?

Helga - that's a good question and hard to sum up succinctly. A key factor would be we try not to take each other for granted. It's not always easy but when it works, it works oh so well :)

The heart has 20/20 vision and a cell phone with a camera :)

[big sigh] THAT'S as good as it gets! Beautiful! i'd be extraordinarily squishy at the same thought!

Now that is an uplifting thought :)

Being a hopeful romantic, it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside ... whatever the secret really is, you're clearly both doing something right!

awww that is so sweet (in the BEST possible way)
and proof that even if Love isn't pink - it is still occasionally soft and warm)

Is this a teaser for Thursday?

And you've succinctly summed up why erotic art is far more sexy than pornography......the sinuous line, no naughty bits showing, bare back, long leg, and the sprawling (lovely word!!! - so sexy, in itself!). You sound gorgeous Luka, I can picture it all..... :)

Luka said...

Walker - heh, apparently so!

Daisyfae - it is pretty special, yes. Squisherama!

Ro - yes indeed. I mean, we have been through some desperately bad times too, so it shows that it is worth hanging on in there. All the good stuff is still there if you're both willing to reclaim it.

Freddy - oh, Thursday will be something entirely different. My sleeping, sprawling pic is just too intimate to put online :)

Jackie - I like it because I am not posing, I am not self conscious (I am entirely unconscious). It's like catching myself unawares and seeing myself how he sees me. A definite highlight of my week.

Luka, that sort of post makes me very happy indeed. Almost life affirming...

no I mean it, it's how it should be

Luka said...

Ms R - thank you. I am not claiming it is always like this - that would be far too sick making - but when we get it right it is worth celebrating.

That is simply one of the most romantic things I've ever heard. Isn't it grand when our partners surprise us with a little spontaneous devotion? :) (Especially when it's richly deserved!)
